Standard Chartered Bank relies heavily on technology for operation
management, compliance and added security. RFID Tracking is one such
initiative, which would enhance and control their Asset management, provide
additional security and provide better track and trace of critical assets and
personnel. Currently, Standard Chartered Bank uses RFID to track assets like
Laptops, Desktops and Servers.
Building an RFID based eco-system also requires that the data acquired
by RFID system be productively used by existing system. Full implementation
would require integrating RFID data with existing backend processing systems.
